Ospitalità Italiana is a quality seal that was launched in Italy in 1997 to promote the quality of Italian Touristic enterprises and to guarantee consumers of the quality of the services delivered. It engages about 5.000 among hotels, restaurants and holiday farms located in 18 Italian regions.

Following up the success obtained in Italy, the initiative has been now extended to enterprises abroad.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West, partner of the project, invites all the Italian Restaurants located in Western Canada to benefit from the many promotional actions linked to the initiative. All the restaurants approved by the Italian Certification Commission will receive the Ospitalità Italian Promotional Pack. The package includes a certificate, the official plate and window decals.

In addition, winning restaurants will be promoted through all the participant media that include:

• TV shows in Italy
• Guides and magazines
• Internet portals
• Newsletter, websites and social networks

Selected restaurants will also participate in Italian Restaurant in The World Award, standing a chance to win one of the several prizes awarded and participate at the Gala night in Italy that will be broadcasted on national television.
